Brad Pitt reportedly waited for the perfect timing before trying to pursue Emily Ratajkowski.

Hollywood might soon have a new power couple after reports about Pitt and Ratajkowski's dating rumors emerged. The buzz came out while the actor is embroiled in legal issues with Angelina Jolie and Ratajkowski's ex, Ben Affleck, married Jennifer Lopez.

Although the news surfaced recently, it turned out that the "Ad Astra" actor waited for a long time before the "secret dates" started.

OK! Magazine recently quoted a source who disclosed that Jolie's estranged husband had been drooling over the model since they met two years ago.

"Brad was crushing on Emily at the 2020 Vanity Fair Oscar party. They weren't in a private area or anything like that, but they did talk with friends around," the source said.

The insider added that the actor could not take his first steps at that time as Ratajkowski was still married to Sebastian Bear-McClard at that time.

Since she was happy with her husband, Pitt reportedly respected that.

But after the couple's split, he finally pursued her by asking her out. Ratajkowski, in return, said yes since she has always thought he was cute.

The magazine noted that, amid the speculations, Pitt's representatives already denied the rumor.

Still, the public insisted on their relationship as people spotted the two in Paris. They were also seen holding hands in New York City.

Brad Pitt Too Busy With Legal Issues?

Although Pitt is free to date anyone, it seems like the actor is yet to find some time to date anyone due to his recent legal issues.

Aside from the lawsuit concerning the Chateau Miraval, the actor's problematic behavior was also highlighted in a newly-unearthed filing that Jolie sued the FBI for not arresting her then-husband after the infamous plane fight.

Puck News' Eriq Gardner (per The Wrap) shared a copy of the document in which Jolie revealed that she told an FBI agent that "physically and verbally assaulted" her and their children during the incident.

Pitt also dealt with legal issues over his and his foundation's "horrible project" after Hurricane Katrina. Unfortunately, the houses had defective designs and faulty building practices, leading to a breach of contract and fraud.

After years of battle, both parties reached a preliminary settlement worth $20.5 million. Global Greens also offered support and assistance to the Lower Ninth families.
