Actor George Clooney reveals the juicy details about his kiss scene with co-star Julia Roberts in the upcoming film, "Ticket to Paradise".

Directed by Ol Parker and written by Parker and Daniel Pipski, the romantic comedy film, "Ticket to Paradise", stars veteran actors George Clooney and Julia Roberts. Clooney and Roberts will also be producers of the upcoming film.

In a recent interview with The New York Times, the two co-stars talked about the details of their upcoming film, and revealed that there would be a "kiss" scene. Notably, the two were well acquainted already as on-screen partners in previous films.

The "Batman & Robin" actor expressed that he had told his wife that it took around "80 takes" to film the kiss scene, however, they later clarified that 79 of it were just of the two co-stars laughing.

"Yeah. I told my wife, 'It took 80 takes. She was like, 'What the hell?'" Clooney joked, to which Roberts explained: "It took 79 takes of us laughing and then the one take of us kissing."

The story of "Ticket to Paradise" features a divorced couple, David (George Clooney) and Georgia (Julia Roberts) who learns that their daughter, Lily, plans to marry a local in Bali that she had just met. The ex-couple is forced to work together to sabotage their daughter's wedding in an attempt to prevent their daughter from making a mistake similar to their failed marriage.

George Clooney and Julia Roberts' On-screen Chemistry

According to their interview with The New York Times, Roberts revealed that "Ticket to Paradise" was "clearly written" for them, as the main protagonist names were Georgia and Julian, in reference to their real life names, when she first received the script.

Roberts later on expressed that she was thrilled with reprising her role in a romantic comedy alongside Clooney, considering unfortunate current events.

"George and I felt a lot of happy responsibility in wanting to make a comedy together, to give people a holiday from life after the world had gone through a really hard time." Roberts explained. "It's like when you're walking down the sidewalk and it's cold outside and you get to that nice patch of sun that touches your back and you go, 'Oh, yeah. This is exactly what I needed to feel'".

Clooney and Roberts have previously co-starred in "Ocean's Eleven" in 2001. They later on reprised their roles in the sequel, "Ocean's Twelve". Outside of the "Ocean's" franchise, the two veteran actors also starred together in "Confessions of a Dangerous Mind" and "Money Monster."
