Paul Wesley and his Ines de Ramon have reportedly cut off their romantic relationship after being married for three years. The recent split comes a few months after the "Vampire Diaries" actor gave a big hint while attending an event.
The couple's representative confirmed the news to Us Weekly Magazine, saying the mutually separated from each other and their split occurred five months ago. The pair is also asking for privacy from the public.
In addition, the spokesperson revealed that the two are no longer living with each other.
As of this writing, the cause of the breakup remains a mystery and there is no information regarding a divorce proceeding.

In early reports, the public began speculating about the breakup last month when the "Vampire Diaries" actor attended the Brothers Bond Bourbon event in New York City.

The actor was spotted at the Hole in the Wall in the Murray Hill neighborhood without his wedding band. De Ramon was also significantly absent from the event.

Their relationship started out low-key after they were photographed holding hands following a dinner date in 2018. (via Page Six)
Following that encounter, the actor shared a photo of himself along with de Ramon, Jessica Szohr, and Nina Dobrev when they attended a wedding in New York.
A few months later, the couple was spotted wearing matching rings together, hinting that they finally tied the knot after dating for a while.
Although details behind their wedding were kept hidden from the public, Dobrev seemingly confirmed their status in an episode of the "Directionally Challenged" podcast where she addressed the businesswoman as the actor's "wife."
De Ramon finally confirmed the news a year later in 2020 after posting a throwback photo of their wedding to celebrate their first anniversary.
The wedding snap features herself wearing a white dress while kissing her then-partner on the beach.
Before de Ramon, Wesley was previously married to Torrey DeVitto but their relationship didn't last after deciding to "amicably split" in 2013, assuring fans that they will continue to "remain good friends."
The "Everwood" star was also linked to other stars like Phoebe Tonkin after meeting her while working on "The Vampire Diaries." Their relationship reportedly lasted for four years.
