Tom Brady is a respected athlete; after all, he is a seven-time Super Bowl champion.

He has, however, become a laughingstock these days, not only on the pitch but also within the locker room.

According to sources who talked to Radar Online, Brady's football colleagues, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, are enraged that all the attention has been focused on his failing marriage to Gisele Bundchen.

Brady is reportedly trying hard to keep his supermodel wife from filing for divorce.

The athlete's colleagues openly mock the 45-year-old quarterback, who seems frail off the field, while others hope he retires from the game.

But the criticism erupted after he skipped some pre-season practice to spend time with his wife.

While the couple spent time apart contemplating the future of their 13-year marriage, a source revealed that some of Brady's Tampa Bay colleagues are "irritated" that all the attention is on him and his "messed-up love life."

"Others find it darn comical that he's this reputed Greatest of All Time player who is now groveling to his wife for one final chance to prove himself," they continued. There have been some fairly harsh nicknames and jokes floating around."

Tom Brady is now allegedly under pressure to please Gisele Bundchen and his colleagues - and he knows it won't be easy.

"Tom could do without people laughing behind his back at him. That is really cruel and degrading to the man."

Brady missed 11 days of training last month as his marriage issues with the Brazilian beauty deteriorated.

According to sources close to the pair, the couple has been having explosive confrontations since Brady chose to return to the NFL.

Another source revealed Bundchen believes Brady broke his vow to spend more time with his family.

Bundchen stated in an interview that she was concerned after learning about Brady's intention to continue playing.

She did, however, express her desire for her spouse to be more present in their family.

"I have definitely had those conversations with him over and over again."

Despite her husband's conflict, Bundchen stated that her spouse, too, needs to pursue his joy, recognizing that everyone has to make a decision that works for them.

Bundchen had left the family property in Florida and was living away from Tom Brady at the time of writing.
