Where Is Cecily Strong?

Fortunately, reports reveal that the 38-year-old comedian's absence alludes to her ongoing role in "The Search for Signs of Intelligent Life in the Universe" at the Mark Taper Forum in Los Angeles. Entertainment Weekly Writer Maureen Lee Lenker recently expressed their praise on Strong's one-man show.

"One-person shows are great feats of acting - the precision, the stamina, and the memorization required staggering in and of themselves" Lenker commented on Cecily's performance. "But Strong takes that all a step further, morphing from one character to the next with a stunning alacrity and physical totality that is rather breathtaking in its sleight of hand."

Cecily Strong will rejoin the "Saturday Night Live" team once her current show concludes its run on October 23. However, fans speculating her "quiet exit" from the show may not be too surprising amidst the series of departures of "SNL"s mainstays.

Amidst Strong's sudden disappearance from the show's premiere, netizens took to Twitter to express their thoughts regarding her presence, or lack theoreof.

Meanwhile, some fans speculate that the comedian may have pulled a "Millenial quiet quit" which has become a trend wherein employees would limit their efforts in work as a silent protest to management, to which other users replied that the real reason may be due to her show in Los Angeles.
