Kanye West's Instagram and Twitter accounts recently got locked and suspended.

West dominated news outlets again after his Instagram account got restricted. The Hollywood Reporter revealed that the restriction came after the "Jesus Is King" rapper violated the platform's policies.

A spokesperson from Meta confirmed the development, saying that the company deleted a post from @kanyewest's Instagram account. It remains visible as of press time, but the restriction is still placed on it.

The news outlet explained that Meta's restriction policy allows the company to limit the account after repeated violations temporarily. This could include preventing posts, adding comments, and even sending direct messages.

Why Kanye West's Instagram Got Restricted

It remains unknown what led the company to restrict Kanye West's Instagram, but Kim Kardashian's ex-husband shared several posts that sparked criticisms.

One post includes West's conversation with Sean "Diddy" Combs with the caption "Jesus is Jew." Groups called it anti-Jewish, leading Instagram to delete the content. West claimed Diddy was controlled by Jewish people, referencing the antisemitic conspiracy theory.

The rapper added more fuel to the fire when he appeared in a Fox News interview where he accused Jared Kushner of gaining money by brokering Israeli treaties.

The next day, the American Jewish community shared the video of the rapper's antisemitic comments, accusing him of using it like greed and control.

West also shared text messages he had with Tremaine Emory over his comments on the late Virgil Abloh one year after the fashion designer died. The "Gold Digger" rapper disclosed he disliked Abloh's works, saying he was jealous of him.

"Good to hear from you b-tch. I hated Virgil's designs and you did to [sic]. If you loved his designs so much Why you and Luka not wearing it head to toe ... Christine told me he didn't have cancer and I believed her ... People don't tell me things," West said.

After West's Instagram got suspended, he returned to Twitter and continued his Jew-related rant. The platform eventually blocked the account and the post with an automated message that reads, "This tweet violated the Twitter Rules."

He also slammed Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg for restricting Instagram. The tech mogul was raised Jewish.

It was not the first time he had lost his Instagram account. In March, the account got suspended for 24 hours after West shared a slur comment against Trevor Noah.
