Brad Pitt revealed he was miserable following his divorce from Angelina Jolie.

Amid the heated legal exchanges between Pitt and Jolie, the "Ad Astra" actor shared the latest events in his life and the struggles he went through after their messy spit.

In an exclusive interview with Financial Times (via Fox News Digital), Pitt revealed that he shared his misery with Nick cave and sculptor Thomas Houseago, who led him to create sculptures after Brangelina's divorce.

"Our mutual misery became comic. And out of this misery came a flame of joy in my life. I always wanted to be a sculptor; I'd always wanted to try it," he said.

Pitt met Cave on the set of "Johnny Suede" in 1991. They became a trio when the actor bumped into Houseago in 2016 at a New Year's Eve party.

Instead of feeling down, the "Mr. and Mrs. Smith" actor reportedly poured all his time into developing his art skills. It also led him to discover who he is while finding friendships worth keeping.

The "Once Upon a Time... in Hollywood" star said he found comfort in friendships as he grew older. He also experienced joy while working on the things he loved the most.

Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie's Court Battle

Pitt's latest story came out after the FBI and the Department of Justice rejected Angelina Jolie's request to obtain more documents regarding their 2016 fight.

They asked the court to reject the actress's attempt to obtain additional records since they believe they already gave her enough. The FBI noted that it gave 53 pages out of 108 pages in May 2017, and 91 pages out of 136 were given to her last year after Jolie requested them.

"[The court lacks] subject matter jurisdiction over [Jolie's] requests for relief to the extent that they exceed the relief authorized under FOIA. [Angelina Jolie is] not entitled to compel the release of information protected from disclosure by one of more of the exemptions to the Freedom of Information Act request," the recent request reads.

These attempts launched by the actress made Pitt's friends accuse her of relieving the past to bring the actor down. They also called her out for complaining regarding her ex-husband's request for a non-disclosure agreement (NDA).

The new filing is yet to reach development.
