Jennifer Lopez and her husband Ben Affleck are both wealthy A-list celebrities, but the multi-hyphenate entertainer is reportedly much richer than the Oscar winner.

Affleck is estimated to be worth $150 million as of February 2024, Celebrity Net Worth reported. But according to the website, Lopez is worth a staggering $400 million.

The couple pair initially dated for two years in the early 2000s before parting ways in 2004. They rekindled their romance in 2021 and tied the knot in Las Vegas in July 2022.

Here's how Affleck and Lopez made their respective fortunes.

Affleck has built an estimated fortune of $150 million from his work as an actor, screenwriter, producer, and director.

According to Celebrity Net Worth, he and Matt Damon each received $300,000 for the screenplay of 1997's "Good Will Hunting," which earned them an Oscar for best original screenplay.

Affleck reportedly made $6 million for starring in 2000's "Reindeer Games" and netted $10 million each for his roles in "Changing Lanes" and "The Sum of All Fears." Despite not being box office successes, "Daredevil" and "Gigli" reportedly earned Affleck $11.5 million and $12.5 million, respectively.

One of his biggest movie paydays came with his 2003 movie "Paycheck," for which he received a reported $15 million before backend bonuses.

According to Forbes, Affleck made $78 million combined in 2014 and 2016, and a huge chunk of this figure came from his "huge paycheck" and backend deal for playing Batman in "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice." He reprised the role in 2017's "Justice League," but it is unclear how much he received for the movie.

He earned $55 million in 2020 thanks to his salaries for movies such as "The Last Duel" and "Hypnotic," Forbes reported.

In addition to his career as an actor, Affleck has produced and directed several films, including "Gone Baby Gone," "The Town," "Argo," and 2023's "Air."

Affleck also made millions from endorsements, having been paid a reported $10 million to direct, produce, and star in Dunkin' Donuts' 2023 Super Bowl commercial.

He also runs the production company Artists Equity alongside Damon.

In May 2023, TMZ reported Affleck and Lopez bought an estate in Beverly Hills for a whopping $60.9 million.

The residence features 12 bedrooms, 24 bathrooms, 15 fireplaces, a 12-car garage, and a basketball court.

Jennifer Lopez arrives for the 81st annual Golden Globe Awards at The Beverly Hilton hotel in Beverly Hills, California, on January 7, 2024.

Lopez accumulated an estimated $400 million from her more than 25 years in the entertainment industry. Her fortune is attributed to her record and album sales, movies, TV shows, tours, Las Vegas residency, endorsements, and business ventures.

She began her music career in 1999 when she released her debut album, "On the 6." The album's lead single, "If You Had My Love," topped the Billboard Hot 100 for five weeks and earned Lopez her first Grammy nomination.

Lopez has since sold more than 80 million records worldwide and 40 million albums, according to Billboard.

Her other hit songs include "Jenny From The Block," "I'm Gonna Be Alright," "I'm Real," "Ain't It Funny," "All I Have," and "On The Floor."

Lopez became the first woman to have a No. 1 album and film simultaneously in 2001, with the release of her second album "J.Lo" and her rom-com with Matthew McConaughey, "The Wedding Planner."

She has starred in many other films, including "Anaconda," "Out of Sight," "Gigli," "Monster-in-Law," "Hustlers," "Marry Me," "Shotgun Wedding," and "The Mother."

Lopez also played Detective Harlee Santos in NBC's "Shades of Blue" for three seasons.

In addition to her albums and acting gigs, the star reportedly also raked in millions from her Las Vegas residency at Planet Hollywood's Zappos Theater.

Lopez performed 120 shows over three years, with the residency grossing over $100 million in ticket sales.

The singer-actress served as a judge on several reality competition shows, including "American Idol" and "World of Dance."

She reportedly earned anywhere between $12 million and $20 million per season on "American Idol," according to The Hollywood Reporter and Forbes.

Lopez also launched the designer clothing line JLO, several fragrances, and the skincare brand JLo Beauty.

Lopez may soon add to her already massive fortune as she's heading on tour this summer.

For "This Is Me...Now the Tour," which kicks off in June and wraps at the end of August, Lopez will perform in more than 30 cities across North America.
