Mike Tyson, a long-time lover of popular herb Maryjane, recently confirmed he will be giving up marijuana — cold turkey — in preparation for his highly anticipated fight.

Despite Iron Mike admitting to 'USA Today' that he smoked before his last fight with Roy Jones Jr. in 2020 and that, in hindsight, he should have smoked throughout the entirety of his pro-boxing career, the heavyweight champ has had a change of heart.

"He only stopped as a means of following all of the rules,'' his publicist Joann Mignano explained in a statement obtained by the media outlet.

Tyson's podcast, 'Hotboxin' With Mike Tyson,' has produced over 275 episodes since its release in January 2019.

The podcast stars the champ himself, as Tyson, 57, covers topics from sports, entertainment, culture, family, relationships, and life lessons. The beloved series released its final episode in March 2024.

Prior to the show's closing, Tyson went on hiatus in late 2023, telling Bryan Salmond at Essentially Sports that he was simply taking it easy.

"Hey, listen, I am just going with the flow. I am passing through here, enjoying everything," the boxing champ stated.
