A guardian for Wendy Williams is reportedly asking for the former talk show host's ex-husband to pay $112,500 in overpaid divorce settlements.

Kevin Hunter previously petitioned a court after he stopped receiving alimony that Williams agreed to pay him as a condition of their divorce. The 51-year-old claimed he has not received any severance payments since 2021, according to Radar Online.

​​Williams was placed under court-ordered guardianship two years ago, leaving Sabrina Morrissey in charge of her finances.

In the court documents obtained by the U.S. Sun, Morrissey attests Hunter's payments were to end if the former radio show host's yearly income dropped below a certain amount. Williams' guardian claimed that the mother of one's income decreased after her morning talk show, 'The Wendy Williams Show,' was canceled in June 2022. At the time of the show's cancellation, which premiered in July 2008 and aired for 13 seasons, Sherri Shepherd had been standing in as Williams' temporary replacement. The show ultimately evolved and became today's 'Sherri.'

"She continued to pay Mr. Hunter. He says in his motion papers... that he was paid through January of 2022," Morrissey claimed. "As a result, [Kevin] has been unjustly enriched by the receipt of $112,500 ($37,500 x 3 months) belonging to [Wendy]."

Hunter reportedly requested that his alimony payments resume, demanding Williams' financial records be released.

Williams, 59, was married to Hunter from 1999 to 2020. They had one child together; Kevin Hunter, Jr.

Williams candidly revealed her challenges during her screen absence in a recent Lifetime documentary.

The media personality revealed her financial struggles, confessing she has "no money." The two-part documentary, 'Where is Wendy Williams,' premiered on Feb. 24 and 25.

The documentary delved into the New York native's ongoing struggles with alcoholism, shedding light on her challenges with both mental and physical health. Numerous segments depict Williams grappling with standing and walking unaided.

In February, it was announced Williams had been diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia and apahasia.

According to a press release, Williams received the diagnosis in 2023 "after undergoing a battery of medical tests."

Frontotemporal dementia, also referred to as FTD, is the "result of damage to neurons in the frontal and temporal lobes of the brain," according to the National Institute of Aging, and include symptoms of "unusual behaviors, emotional problems, trouble communicating, difficulty with work, or difficulty with walking."

The Mayo Clinic defines apahasia as a "disorder that affects how you communicate" and usually happens suddenly after a stroke or a head injury.

The statement concluded how Williams "is still able to do many things for herself. Most importantly she maintains her trademark sense of humor and is receiving the care she requires to make sure she is protected and that her needs are addressed."
