Chris Brown and Rihanna have kept fans in the dark about what we really caused their break up back in May, but according to sources the Bajan beauty wanted to start a family--something that he wasn't ready for. 

Rihanna wanted to take her relationship with Brown to the next step, but they didn't see eye-to-eye. 

According to a HollywoodLife.com report, the Diamonds singer wanted to have a baby, but his reaction ripped her apart. 

"She told him she loved him and could see herself starting a family with him in the future," a source said. "She wasn't talking like right now."

The source revealed that Brown felt as if he was too young to get serious.

Brown appeared on the Kyle & Jackie O radio show on May 5 to tell the world that he was single, saying, "At the end of the day, [she's] already doing her thing, she's on the road. The way I look at it it ... I'm always going to love that person, but people have differences, and people have different wants and needs."

Shortly after the interview, Rihanna became furious. 

"When my girl tell you she loves you and wants to be serious with you and start a real life with you and maybe even have your baby in the future, you turn her down, and then put her on blast on a radio show," the source said. "That's all bad. Like game over."

Rihanna and Brown have been apart up for three months, and she is reportedly "over" the relationship. 

"No love lost for her. She knows who the f**k he really is and that's cool. She'll always love him, she'll always care for him but she's not going back to that," the source said.
