E! reality show series Khloe & Lamar, a spinoff of hit reality show "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" will reportedly end so that Lamar Odom can focus on his NBA basketball career. According to TMZ, the couple will end the series so Lamar can focus on his NBA comeback without having cameras following him. The pair are likely to limit their appearance on the Keeping Up With the Kardashians.

Lamar's basketball team, the Dallas Mavericks, had recently put Lamar on its inactive list, after a less than impressive season. Following the announcement, Lamar released a statement saying: "The Mavericks and I have mutually agreed that it's in the best interest of both parties for me to step away from the team.

"I'm sorry that things didn't work out better for both of us, but I wish the Mavs' organisation, my team mates and Dallas fans nothing but continued success in the defence of their championship."

Lamar and Khloe now live in Los Angeles full time. He will be working with trainers to improve his basketball skills.

The pair's announcement to quit their reality show comes after the Kardashian family signed a record $40 million deal last week to agree to have their daily lives filmed for three more seasons on the Keeping Up With the Kardashians reality show on E!.  The biggest share of the profit will go to Kim, Kourtney and Khloe, along with their parents Kris and Bruce Jenner. Their other siblings, Kendall, Kylie and Rob will also receive a share, but not as much as their sisters, according to TMZ.com.
