Jon Gosselin wants to know: would you like fries with that?
According to a new report published by The National Enquirer, the former reality star has taken a job as a waiter and bus boy at Emily’s pub in Beckersville, Pa.
Jon, who divorced his wife Kate Gosselin in 2009, is trying to make ends meet and living a less glamorous life than when he was on the TLC show, Jon & Kate Plus 8.
Earlier this summer, Jon revealed he was "living in a cabin in the woods" to save money. During an interview with VH1's The Gossip Table, the former reality star says he's taken to a more private life after living in an apartment where paparazzi and others "figured out where I was."
“Jon has really hit rock bottom,” a source close to Jon told the Enquirer.
“Just a few years ago, he was jetting off to France to hobnob in St. Tropez, sipping champagne on a yacht. Now he’s waiting tables at a pub! Working the weekday lunch shift, he can’t possibly be taking home more than $40 or $50," the source added.
Emily's pub staffer Leah Littlefield tweeted: "Jon Gosselin is the new server at my work" and "...I’m ahead of him right now, too. I’m hosting, he’s serving."
Last month, Kate opened up about her failed marriage, adding that her own diva-like behavior may have led to her current unemployed state.
"I made so many mistakes, of course," she told PEOPLE. "I'm living very carefully these days. To not have a reliable income is scary."
Kate and her brood of eight - twins Mady and Cara, 12, and sextuplets Alexis, Collin, Hannah, Joel, Leah and Aaden, 9 - appeared on their own TV series Jon and Kate Plus 8 and the spin-off Kate Plus 8 before TLC decided to end their show.
