Lisa Kudrow will make her debut on Scandal on Thursday's episode.

The Friends alum will play Democratic Congresswoman Josephine Marcus in the upcoming episode titled, Say Hello to My Little Friend.

According to the sneak peek below, Kudrow's character will challenge the president in the Shonda Rhimes-created political drama.

"I don't think there is a matter on the president showing his leadership on the issue," Marcus says on television as Fitz and his wife, First Lady Mellie, watch.

"[At] this point I'm more interested in him not showing certain things. I think it's high time the man tames his cobra and keeps a lid on the basket," she adds. "So our country can focus on... education, keeping jobs here at home."

While First Lady Mellie appears visibly concerned about Marcus' comments, which referenced her husband's public infidelities, the Republican president calmly jokes about them.

"Tame my cobra, not bad," he quips.
