Callie Torres and Arizona Robins' relationship is not set to get any easier going forth in season 10 of Grey's Anatomy, Sara Ramirez recently explained to TV Line.

The Nov. 14 episode of the medical drama featured a flashback of Callie and Arizona dealing with the aftermath of their miscarriage. Their relationship took a turn after that and will continue to face hardships when Callie eventually discovers Arizona is sleeping with intern Leah.

The last episode ended with Callie asking Arizona to give their marriage another shot and to move back home, but will she feel the same when she finds out about Arizona has already moved on to someone else?

"It's sort of how she finds out. I think that triggers a reaction of sorts," Ramirez teased. "That's kind of what I can say about that."

As for Callie moving on with a new relationship of her own, Ramirez said it will most likely probably happen eventually, but that her character has issues to work out first.

"I think she's trying," the actress said. "This is the mother of her child, I think this has been a very difficult process go to through: the process of separation and find yourself again... Callie's been trying to reinvest in herself this season and allowing Arizona the space to do the work she needs to do to sort of get clear about what she wants."

"And in all of that confusion, I think Callie is struggling with that kind of decision. Am I done done? Am I not done? Am I half done? What am I?"

Viewers must wait to see the status of Callie and Arizona's marriage, but Ramirez hinted that there is hope for them when the series ends.

"[Executive Producer] Shonda Rhimes has always said that the real end of the show -- when it's over, over -- characters will get their happy endings."

Ramirez also discussed the approaching departure of actress Sandra Oh from the television series. Ramirez agreed that it feels like "a chapter is closing" with the exit of surgeon Christina Yang, a character who has made her mark on the show as Meredith Grey's "person" and Owen Hunt's on-again, off-again love interest.

"She's one of the reasons that I started watching the show," Ramirez said of her co-star. "So it feels like an era has ended or something. It does feel like a new chapter and there is some sadness around it, but I'm really happy for her and thrilled for her. This is about what makes her happy."
