Tina (Michelle Keegan) will find potential new romance as she tries to make Peter (Chris Gascoyne) jealous on Coronation Street.

The Rovers Return barmaid will reportedly throw herself at Rob Donovan (Marc Baylis) in an upcoming episode, set to air on Dec. 18.

Things could prove to become disastrous for Tina when Peter's new wife, Carla (Alison King), walks in and sees the passionate embrace between her best friend and brother. Though Rob will beg Carla not to tell his girlfriend Tracy (Kate Ford) about the kiss, he could potentially have something to worry about if she does spill the beans to her groom-who happens to also be Tracy's brother.

Baylis, who plays Rob, recently opened up about the possible repercussions from the kiss to Radio Times. He spilled about how all of the relationships that are intricately woven into the small plot point are potentially going to be affected.

"Rob's bricking it," he said. "Not because of Carla-she seems to find the whole thing amusing and Rob trusts her not to tell Tracy. What he's worried about is Carla going home and telling Peter, his enemy, who also happens to be his girlfriend's brother! He's really panicked."

Baylis also hinted that if Carla told Peter, the repercussions from Tracy finding out by default could be catastrophic for his character.

"It's not even worth thinking about, She's kill him," he said. "I don't know that he's necessarily afraid of Tracy, but he knows she's not one to mess around with. God knows what she'd do to him."

Baylis' character shouldn't be aware of why Tina has expressed a sudden interest in him, or why Peter could be upset about the kiss for reasons other than Rob cheating on his sister. Before his wedding to Carla, Peter kissed Tina as well.

"I suppose looking back, there might have been a couple of things he might have picked up on, but then why would he? He's got no reason to go looking for clues about the two of them," the actor said. "If Rob did find out, I don't think Peter would be in a good place. Carla is Rob's sister and he's always been protective of her where Peter's concerned."

The drama from this storyline will begin to unfold on Dec. 18. The next all-new episode of Coronation Street will air on Wed. Dec. 11.
