Dumb and Dumber star Jeff Daniels recently spoke about what it was like to work on the highly anticipated sequel, Dumb and Dumber To.

Daniels spoke to Matt Lauer on The Today Show about working with co-star Jim Carrey and his hopes for Dumb and Dumber To.

"I've been lucky, the people I get to work with. I think Jim's got a one-of-a-kind gift, I think he's a comedic genius," Daniels said. "To marry what I can do with him is a joy, we blend well together."

Daniels said that his friendship with Carrey helped him in playing his best friend in Dumb and Dumber To.

"We've become friends over the years and I think that translates into Harry and Lloyd," he explained. "We're still middle-aged and still that stupid, that's a given. It was a joy to make and I hope it's funnier than the first one."
