Marvel is dishing out Guardians of the Galaxy teasers piecemeal, but Chris Pratt claims the latest clips don't even touch the greatest bits of the film.

'Guardians Of The Galaxy' Director James Gunn Confirms Nathan Fillion Role?

Pratt portrays Peter Quill, a.k.a Star-Lord, in the upcoming Phase Two film, and the actor promises that the plot runs deeper and the jokes hit harder than fans yet know.

"They're being very careful about what they release and very smart about getting people excited without giving away what the movie's about and not giving away the best jokes or story," Pratt told MTV. "I think people are very fired up to see it, and don't know what to expect."

'Guardians Of The Galaxy' Gamora Working With Nebula In Movie Prelude? How Strong Are Their Ties To Thanos?

Considering Guardians of the Galaxy is the first addition to the Marvel Cinematic Universe to feature a cast of unlikely, miscreant heroes instead of the well-known Avengers, the studio has focused on creating trailers that help acquaint viewers with an unfamiliar ensemble cast. Considering the film's first teaser went over like gangbusters, it stands to reason fans will have a similar response once they get an even more in-depth look.

However, Pratt cautions that mystery is a moviegoers best friend.

"That's the best way to see a movie," Pratt explained to MTV. "If I'm really excited to see something, and I have no idea what I'm about to see, I love that. I think that can be a problem you get when you're dealing with [franchises where moviegoers] want to know everything about it."
