Despite reports that he is secretly engaged to girlfriend Eva Mendes and planning a wedding with her, rumors of Ryan Gosling's potential infidelity still linger after news broke of his meeting another famous actress.

In an April 28 interview in Clique Magazine, Revenge star Ashley Madekwe revealed that she had previously met Gosling as a doctor's office, and the two had hit it off.

"In the film industry, for insurance purposes, you have a medical before every job. There are just a couple of doctors who do them, so you all go to the same place. Ryan Gosling was there, too," she said. "We ended up chatting -- he was very sweet and said he liked Secret Diary of a Call Girl. My husband was fully prepared to hate him, but he ended up really liking him."

Madekwe has been married to actor Iddo Goldberg since 2012.

Fans of Gosling shouldn't worry though, as the actor doesn't appear to have cheated on Mendes with Madekwe. However, cheating reports have been haunting the actor about his ex-girlfriend Rachel McAdams for months.

Sources told OK! Magazine in March that McAdams was trying to win Gosling back, and that he has been somewhat receptive to the idea.

"Rachel has been very low-key about it all," the source said at the time. "She's played it very smart and used the whole 'just friends' angle to get close to Ryan again, but she 100 percent wants him back. He' not the cheating type, but he hasn't been honest with Eva about how much contact he has with Rachel."

Though Gosling isn't allegedly the cheating type, a recent Cosmopolitan article claimed he could be a cheater simply because of his name. The website quoted a poll of 2000 women on siteopia.com, which pegged the top ten names of men who are most likely to cheat on a partner.

Ryan came in third on the list, behind Wayne and Liam. The other names included Matt, Craig, Steve, Scott, Dean, Mark and Lee.

Reports have claimed that Gosling and Mendes had split since as early as January, though the couple is reportedly secretly engaged now.

Neither has confirmed their currently rumored engagement, though both are expected to attend the Cannes Film Festival in May, where Gosling's directorial debut Lost River (formerly titled How to Catch a Monster) is screening. Mendes is one of the stars in the film.
