As the finale of season 5 of The Good Wife is just around the corner, fans are being inundated with spoilers but they have some of their own questions regarding certain character relationships on the show.

End of Season 9 Will Be 'Game-Changing' For Alicia?

On May 14 E!Online allowed one such fan query to be addressed by the CBS legal drama's co-creator Robert King.

"We do too and part of it is built into the concept of the series. We've had discussions with Jules and Jules thought we were pushing the Kalinda/Alicia friendship back too quickly," King said. "When we looked at it again, we tended to agree. It's a relationship we want to keep alive, but in many ways like many things on the show, there's some things we kind of slow move and others we kind of fast move."

Finale To Start A 'New Chapter' And Feature An 'Explosive Scene'?

Here's the official synopis for the finale, titled A Weird Year:

"An open feed from a camera mistakenly left on after a teleconferenced deposition between the lawyers of Florrick/Agos and Lockhart/Gardner reveals a threat to the firm that Alicia and Cary never saw coming. Meanwhile, the fate of Lockhart/Gardner hangs in the balance as Louis Canning views for a larger role. Also, Alicia entrusts Zach's high school graduation party to Jackie and Veronica, on the fifth season finale of The Good Wife."

A Weird Year will air on May 18 on CBS.
