Deepika Padukone may not be in a relationship, but the Bollywood actress' career is hotter than ever! After splitting with Ranbir Kapoor, Paduoke is set to take part in a workshop for the film Piku.

What Does Deepika Padukone Say About Recent Split?

Padukone is set to be in Shoojit Sircar's Piku, according to Bollywood Life. The film also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Irrfan Khan and Jisshu Sengupta.

Sircar admitted it was tough to get all four actors in one spot with their very busy schedules. "BachchanIrrfan, Deepika and Jisshu are all extremely busy actors. But they had absolutely no hesitation in slicing precious meat out of their fat schedules to go through the rehearsals," the filmmaker said.

Did Actress Suffer Wardrobe Malfunction?

For Padukone, it could be a good opportunity to get over her break up from Kapoor, despite saying she wasn't "cynical" about love in the future.

"If you're wondering whether the breakup put me off relationships, the answer is no," Padukone said recently. "I'm not cynical about love. The equation with Ranbir is there for all to see in our recent film. There's nothing more to say."

Don't ask Padukone about her love life either on the set of the new film. The actress probably wont have anything to say about it.

"Why is it that only actors are asked about their personal lives during interviews? When it's a sportsperson, a politician or a businessman these questions never crop up," she said. "On the sports pages we read about an athlete's professional highs and lows. The entertainment pages are mostly gossip."

With all of this emotion, Padukone is more than ready for her starring role. "It is a very real drama, the emotions are not cinematic," Sircar said about his new film. "The feelings expressed have to be absolutely authentic. Luckily, I've actors who are more than willing to surrender completely to the project."
