While some may be skeptical on Bollywood actresses Katrina Kaif and Ranbir Kapoor, it turns out that one of them might actually have more than just mutual respect for the other.

Katrina Kaif 'Expects' Speculation?

Kaif turned 30-years-old on Wednesday, and Padukone sent out a public message to her on her Twitter page. She wrote, "Happy Birthday #Katrina!Lots of love & hope you have the bestest year ever!:-)"

This sparks up some curiosity if the two are actually rivals or not since both of them have been rumored to be romantically linked with actor Ranbir Kapoor at one point. Kaif also had an interview with DNA Analysis where she mentioned that she does not have any "equation" with Padukone.

"I am cordial with everyone, but I have no equation with Deepika," Kaif said. "Everyone is here on the merits of their work and if someone has three hit films this year, someone else will have three hit films the next year and so it goes on. The focus will shift to that person accordingly and that's the way it should be."

In the same interview, the actress was asked if she's going to ever be more open on her love life; she said that she's living her life in the way that she wants to.

"Nothing stops me from going out or being anywhere that I want to be," Kaif said. "I am doing whatever I want to do. I do not live my life according to any restrictions whatsoever! I just don't want to speak about it in print because I can't see one logical reason to."
