Bollywood stars Katrina Kaif and Ranbir Kapoor have been rumored to be dating for quite some time now, and it's reportedly gotten to the point where the Bang Bang star might be making an impression on her alleged boyfriend's mother.

Katrina Kaif 'Expects' Speculation?

On Friday, DNA India reported that the rumored couple are headed to South Africa to film Jagga Jasoos, and Kapoor invited his mother, Neetu, along to spend some brief time with them. It turns out that Neetu apparently turned down the invitation to spend time with her husband, Rishi, in Shimla instead.

This leaves some speculation on why the actor's mother wouldn't want to visit her son and his possible girlfriend, and if it has anything to do with Kaif.

Katrina Kaif Afraid To Get Married?

"Ranbir had asked his mother to join him for a couple of weeks on location because he hadn't spent time with her from a long time, but she declined the offer," a source said. "Neetu and Rishi have just returned from a month-long holiday in the US and she chose to join him again in Shimla for a quiet holiday."

Despite any curiosity on negative tension between Neetu and Kaif, the insider revealed that Kapoor's mother is actually very supportive of her son and his alleged girlfriend.

"South Africa is a beautiful country and the young couple will have some much-needed time to themselves," the source said. "Neetu is very fond of Katrina and approves of her son's choice. Katrina seems to be the ideal bahu for the Kapoor household."
