Fans of The Walking Dead might have an unfortunate event coming their way, involving one of the main characters being killed off.

Cannibals Will Be At Terminus?

On Wednesday, a Facebook page called The Spoiling Dead Fans mentioned a possibility of Glenn (Steven Yeun) being killed off although that has yet to be made official.

"RUMOR: we have heard from multiple sources about a possible death. Word is the death of Glenn was filmed yesterday. It's possible it could be someone else, but multiple sources stated Glenn," the site wrote.

Actor Won't Be Appearing On The Series?

"Reports are the set was locked down and everyone was told the cast would not be coming out," the page continued.

Based on showrunner Scott Gimple's interview with Comic Book Resources, killing off Glenn could very well indeed happen at some point.

"I mean, it's a bummer, but nobody's too important to kill off," Gimple said. "I'm not thrilled to say that, but it's just the nature of this show."

The showrunner then revealed that there are reasons for killing off certain characters no matter how big of a deal they might be.

"Anybody can die, anybody will die, and my goal is that it not just be for shock value and that it serve the story," Gimple said. "People might last a good long time, or they might be taken tomorrow. And the speculation of all of it-- I try not to pay too much attention to that because it's really important that we just serve our story."

The Walking Dead Season 5 is expected to premiere in October on AMC.
