They have been fighting off rumors of jealousy between them for years, but now Kody Brown and his four wives on TLC's Sister Wives are set to prove their loyalties to one another, and their polygamist marriage, on the season five finale.

Meri Brown Leaving Family Behind?

According to a synopsis in TV Guide, the family will compile photos and videos to demonstrate the strength of their relationships on the July 20 finale episode.

The synopsis was revealed after a penultimate episode saw Kody's first wife, Meri, admitting that she didn't always feel like she was important to her family, after her husband added fellow wives, Christine, Janelle and Robyn, and began having children with them as well.

'Sister Wives' Open Up About Plural Marriage

"I'm happy on the good days and when Kody shows love and affection, but on a bad day, I question my importance to the family and if Kody still cares about me," she admitted in the most recent episode of the show, where the family met with the Richards-another polygamist family.

Meri was expressing her sentiments in solidarity with Nathanael Richard's first wife, Rebecca, who also copped to having 'first wife" feelings.

It wasn't the first indication Meri had given that she could be unhappy with the arrangement either-the current season began with her revealing to Kody that she wanted to go back to college and begin a career of her own-opening up for the first time about how she has previously lost opportunities in the field she loves due to her polygamist marriage.

"When we were living in Utah, I had started going to college, and I was really enjoying it. It was very fulfilling to me," she said at the time. "I ended up working at a residential treatment center for at-risk youth and I love it. Loved love loved it. I ended up losing that job because of my lifestyle, because of going public, because of an investigation. So I never went back to college after that."

Since marrying Kody in 1990, Meri had seen him take on his three additional wives-Janelle in 1993, Christine in 1994, and Robyn in 2010.

Of the wives, Meri also has the least number of children with her husband, due to an unexplained infertility. She is the mother of 17-year-old Mariah.

Janelle is the mother of six: Logan, Madison, Hunter, Garrison, Gabriel and Savannah; Christine is also the mother of six: Aspyn, Mykelti, Paedon, Gwendlyn, Ysabel and Truly; Robyn is the mother of four: Dayton, Aurora and Breanna from a previous relationship, and Solomon, with Kody.

Sister Wives airs Sundays at 9 p.m. on TLC.
