Some betrayals are harder than others to move past, and it doesn't look like Skye (Chloe Bennet) will be in the forgive-and-forget mood when it comes to the matter of Grant Ward (Brett Dalton).

A romantic couple for an infinitesimally short amount of time, the SkyWard 'ship ran ground thanks to HYDRA and it probably won't find smooth seas at any point during the upcoming season.

"I highly doubt that, this season at least," Bennet told Seat 42F at the 2014 San Diego Comic-Con last weekend.

The ABC series will series will instead focus on the growing "bromances" between Fitz (Iain De Caestecker) and Ward and between Sky and Simmons (Elizabeth Henstridge).

"The romance will all be between him and Iain and me and Elizabeth," Bennet explained. "Skimons and...is there a name for Ward and Fitz? Witz?"

Despite this, Bennet believes her character can still see the good in her former supervising officer.

Listen, Ward isn't that bad. Bill Paxton, [who played] Garrett was bad and then he turned [and] manipulated [Ward]," Bennet said. "I think Skye believes that like deep, deep, way deep [down]."
