It looks as though Kerry Washington might have some beef with one of the biggest pop stars in the world. According to new reports, the Scandal actress apparently doesn't like the way Beyonce relies on her body and sexual innuendo to sell records.

Washington has allegedly slammed Beyonce to her close friends, telling them that she should do more to empower young African American girls.

An insider told Dish Nation that the 37-year-old Hollywood star "hates how Beyonce relies on her body to sell records" and that "Kerry thinks Beyonce should spend less time shaking her booty and more time pushing other agendas, like the value of education and healthy eating, as well as promoting book reading."

The source added, "Kerry thinks the way Beyonce is reveling in rumors about her private life is, at best, cheesy, and, at worst, dangerous."

Beyonce is currently fighting off rumors that her marriage to her husband Jay-Z is done and that she is apparently shopping for a New York City apartment for just her and her 2-year-old daughter, Blue Ivy.

The source continued. "To Kerry, it seems like Beyonce is sending a message to young women that standing by your man, even if he cheats on you, is perfectly acceptable. While Kerry's peers, like Beyonce, exploit themselves for career advancement, she's happy to keep her private life under wraps and let her talented do the talking. Kerry wishes Beyonce would do the same."

 So far, neither Washington nor Beyonce have commented on the alleged beef between the two ladies.
