Scandal star Kerry Washington recently made it clear that she doesn't want any of her close friends and family to comment about her newborn baby daughter Isabelle, but it looks like she didn't expect the President to have a say about it. President Obama recently made some comments about Washington's daughter, fueling speculation that she might not approve of him making public statements about her private life.

During a fundraising dinner for the Democratic National Committee in Los Angeles last week, President Obama thanked the Hollywood actress for working on his campaigns and being a "great friend," according to People Magazine, posted on Thursday. He also said that he got a glimpse of her daughter Isabelle, saying, "Plus, she showed me her baby pictures, and that is one cute baby!"

Washington recently banned her Scandal co-stars from even mentioning her daughter's name on the red carpet. Her Scandal co-star Bellamy Young recently said that Washington has forbid to her speak about the Hollywood's star baby girl.

While at The Wrap's First Annual Emmy Party in Los Angeles back in June, Young did her best to avoid any questions about Washington and her daughter from reporters. "We can't talk about Kerry on the carpet," she said, according to Us Weekly.

When asked if she feels "happy" for her co-star, Young replied with, "I am Switzerland of Kerry."
