The filming of House of Cards, which is mostly taking place in Maryland, will come to the political capital of the country this weekend.

Politico reported that the Netflix drama will be shooting in D.C. A "mock-motorcade scene" and "b-roll footage" is to be captured in the setting and some fans might have been able to access the filming as it was taking place outside.

  • 7th Sreet NW between Independence and Pennsylvania avenues
  • 9th Street NW between Independence and Pennsylvania avenues
  • 15th Street NW between Pennsylvania and Constitution avenues
  • Pennsylvania Avenue NW between 3rd and 15th streets
  • Constitution Avenue NW between 15th and 3rd streets
  • Independence Avenue SW between 3rd and 14th streets

The third season of House of Cards is currently filming in Maryland, where the first and second seasons were also shot. Initially, the continuation of filming of the third season of the Netflix series was fraught with troubles over the past few weeks as the producers weren't getting permission from the State of Maryland. But the issue was finally resolved on April 25.

House of Cards is helmed by Beau Willimon and stars Kevin Spacey, playing Frank Underwood, and Robin Wright, playing Claire Underwood.
