MTV's Video Music Awards have always been a hot way to help distinguish the end of summer, and 2014's all star performance lineup has the audience in for an explosive show.

Taylor Swift Has Confirmed A 2014 VMA Performance

Within the last week, new performances have been confirmed from stars within the celebrity world of pop music. Nicki Minaj and Taylor Swift were among the last two confirmed. Beyonce and Iggy Azalea were also confirmed. For those that will be watching the award show, here is what everyone is hyped for:

Swift confirmed her performance with Jimmy Fallon. Remember her performance of 22 at the Billboard Music Awards 2013? The singer danced on tables, showing off her petite body and choreographed dancers. Swift will be looking to outdo that performance, so expect her songs to feel more pop, as if Madonna was singing it instead.

Iggy Azalea Cleans Up On MTV Video Music Award Nominations

The lead single for The PinkPrint, the next album by Nicki Minaj, is Anaconda. The song has already created a high amount of controversy from the album cover, showcasing the singer's large and in charge bottom. Expect Minaj to showcase even more of it with the bumping and grinding beats featured in her new song.

Speaking of bottoms, Iggy Azalea will be performing as well. Instead of being Fancy, we should expect a monster performance for Black Widow with co-pop star Rita Ora. Ora will be looking to bring fire to the performance after having her Teen Choice Awards Performance stripped away from her. The two just released a video for the song below, bringing with it a Kill Bill influence, expect hopefully something as wicked and dark for the performance as well.

Beyonce has already been confirmed to be receiving the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award, so we can expect an illustrious performance potentially giving tribute to the late great. With Jackson having two posthumous video releases, will Beyonce take advantage of that or will her performance feature her most ambitious choreography to date?

5 Seconds Of Summer will also be performing, which will be interesting because they are young and riding off their success constantly touring with One Direction. Adam Levine will be there with his band Maroon 5. Be sure to tune in August 24th.
