After a report got out that a number of celebrities became victims of a nude photo scandal, it looks like Olympic gymnast McKayla Maroney might be one of them.

On Monday, the gymnast took to her Twitter page to respond to the situation while making it clear that any scandalous images of her are not real. She mentioned how she tried to look past it, but gave a response anyway.

"the fake photos of me are crazy!! was trying to rise above it all, and not give 'the creator' the time of day.. BUT..," Maroney wrote. She then added a meme of Jesus giving a smile and a wink that says, "You Sir, Need Jesus."

After the incident took place, Maroney then added another tweet to her page to say how thankful she is to all her fans who supported her.

"shout out to my fans for defending me all day long.. even when things got weird u stood by me. and that meant the world," she wrote, adding in emojis of hearts and the planet Earth.

Other celebrities who were alleged victims of this scandal include Jennifer Lawrence and Mary Elizabeth Winstead who took to her own page to speak up on the situation.

"To those of you looking at photos I took with my husband years ago in the privacy of our home, hope you feel great about yourselves," Winstead wrote.

She later tweeted, "Knowing those photos were deleted long ago, I can only imagine the creepy effort that went into this. Feeling for everyone who got hacked."
