The Originals hasn't even aired the first episode of Season 2 on The CW yet, and already the cast and crew are boasting a new holiday episode for the popular supernatural series.

'The Originals' Cast Claims To Be 'Like The Brady Bunch'  

Creator Julie Plec first broke news of the episode on Twitter Sunday.

Plec didn't reveal which holiday they were preparing for, though based on the fact that production is at least eight episodes in it is likely she is referring to the December holidays. It seems Plec isn't the only one excited about how things are going on set. Filming, which occurred on location in New Orleans, La. last week, is returning to its customary location of Atlanta, Ga. with some pretty "amazing" stuff. Producer Michael Narducci boasted the footage on Twitter Friday, though he wasn't revealing any major secrets about the show.

It seems cast and crew might just be as excited for the program to return as fans are, and neither will have to wait much longer. The program returns in just a few weeks, promising more chaos to come.

The Originals returns to The CW for a second season on a new night Monday, October 6 at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
