'The Originals' Season 2 News: Cast Boasts The CW Series Is 'Like The Brady Bunch But Bloodier' As They Share New On-Set Photos [VIDEO]
The cast of The CW's The Originals is pretty close-knit and the stars make sure fans don't forget it.

'The Originals' Is 'On its Game' For New Season 2 Episodes
It seems this sense of camaraderie extends beyond the cast and into the crew as well. Directors from Season 1 have returned to helm new episodes, including Matt Hastings, who directed the finale for Season 1. On Wednesday Hastings posted a photo from the finale on Twitter of him standing with one smiling and a few brooding cast members.

Hastings returned for a recent episode this season, boasting a few swamp scenes and night shoots with actress Phoebe Tonkin (Hayley). The director isn't shy about posting set photos, though he's careful not to reveal anything while the cameras are rolling.
The closer it gets to the Season 2 premiere, the more happily cast and crew share on-set pics showing in spite of the blood, betrayal, cruelty, and mayhem onscreen, they couldn't be having a better time.
The Originals returns to The CW for a second season on a new night Monday, October 6 at 10 p.m. ET/PT.
