Jake T. Austin, who plays Jesus on The Fosters, just dished on the chemistry that's taking place on the series as well as how his character is gradually turning into a man.

On Tuesday, Perez Hilton posted a live interview with the actor who talked about the moments that have taken place in his character's love life and how that's helping him grow. He also mentioned how his co-stars have a bright future ahead of them.

"Jesus- my character on The Fosters- has had love interests kind of play his maturity and part of him growing up and discovering who he is as a man, and just trying to find that place," Austin said. "But it's been great to be able to work with so many talented actresses on The Fosters like Bianca Santos and some of the other actresses who I think will blossom into huge careers."

The actor then revealed who he thinks is the most important relationship on the show right now, and where his character's love life will be going from here.

"One of the most important relationships in the show is Brallie- Brandon and Callie," he said. "For me, my character, my most valued relationship, is my relationship with Emma and I think the chemistry that they share is something that you can see on screen."

The Fosters is expected to return to ABC Family in early 2015.
