Althea Heart shocked fans when she took to her Instagram to imply that she was single after being engaged to VH1's Love & Hip Hop Atlanta star Benzino.

She shared one picture that simply read, "Single" and another that read, "Single doesn't always mean lonely and relationship doesn't always mean happy"

While she deleted both of those photos (check them out over at Bossip), she did keep one post she shared on Sunday.

It reads, "Being single is smarter than being in the wrong relationship."

The two took part in what could surely be considered a whirlwind romance. He even proposed to her on the show after six months of dating. They have tag teamed an stuck together on some of the most dramatic and explosive clips including when Joseline Hernandez and Stevie J attacked them on the hit series' reunion special. Benzino went as far as defending Heart when fans accused her of using him for his money, fame and fortune; especially since she was against signing a prenuptial agreement. So for her to suggest that they somehow did not work out seemed to take fans by surprise.

Still, she seemed to set the record straight that she and Benzino are indeed still a couple.

She shared a picture Friday with the quote, "I cannot lose you, because if I ever did I'd have lost my best friend, my soul mate, my smile, my laugh, my everything."
