None of the Mystic Falls residents will be making it over to New Orleans but actress Nina Dobrev, known for playing Elena on TVD, will be stepping into the role of Tatia in episode five of The Originals second season this fall.

Tatia was first introduced during Season 3 of TVD as the girl who stole the hearts of the then-human Klaus (Joseph Morgan) and Elijah (Daniel Gillies).

New Trailer Warns 'Fear The Fallen' In Upcoming Episodes Of 'The Originals'

"It's shocking, I think," declared Morgan when he spoke about the new episode with TVLine on Tuesday. "It's pretty grim. I don't want to spoil too much, but it's definitely revealing of the brothers and what happened back then."

"We tell a story that will make you understand [Tatia's] fate and what happened to her," added executive producer Michael Narducci.

While Dobrev was initially a little wary of playing yet another character in this CW world, having already spent quite a bit of time flipping back and forth between Elena and her doppelgangers on TVD, she quickly changed her mind. The story designed by creator Julie Pled "made a lot of sense."

Dobrev will make her debut as Tatia on The Originals November 4 at 8 p.m. ET/PT.

The Originals continues on The CW with new episodes Mondays at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
