After a brief hiatus, Christina Aguilera will return to her red chair on The Voice next season.

"OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT: Say HELLO to your Season 8 coaches! @adamlevine @Pharrell @xtina @blakeshelton #TheVoice," the NBC show announced via Twitter on Tuesday.

Fans were excited to hear about the return of Aguilera and new coach Pharrell Williams, who joined the reality competition show this season.

The multi-platinum singer appeared on the show for the first three seasons, was temporarily replaced by Shakira during season four and returned for the fifth. She also stepped away for season six and the current one to focus on making new music and prepare to welcome her second child. The multi-platinum singer and her fiancé, Matt Rutler, welcomed their first child together in August in Los Angeles.

Aguilera announced the arrival and the baby's name via Twitter writing, "So proud to welcome our beautiful daughter Summer Rain Rutler into the world."

The star welcomed current coach Gwen Stefani to the show back in April. "So excited to have you join #TheVoice squad @GwenStefani! Welcome to our crazy fam! Kisses- xoxo," she tweeted along with the hashtag #blondesdoitbest.
