Duke University porn actress Belle Knox has spoken up on her experiences as a young adult in the sex industry and how it impacts her life as a student.

Belle Knox Reveals A 'Dirty' Job She Does On The Side

On Thursday, The Real Porn Wiki Links reported that Knox made an appearance at the 11th Annual International Human Trafficking, Prostitution and Sex Work Conference in Toledo, Ohio. The event that was held last month also featured Ph.D. student Christina Parreira where she and Knox shared their thoughts and perspectives on bullying in the sex industry.

"Christina and I presented on the impacts of stigma and hierarchal relationships within sex work," Knox said. "I spoke about my personal experiences in the industry and how my treatment from the outside world informs my life as a student and as a woman."

"I am happy that I was able to change my audience members' negative perceptions about the industry and instead shift the focus onto how society treats sex worker communities," she added.

The site posted a comment that Knox apparently received through social media that told her how she should not be at Duke University anymore due to her decision to star in X-Rated films.

"You do not belong in our school. You have shamed our university," the comment from Lars Ander reads. "It is time for you to collect your gears and leave. By, the way, if you should have finished school do you really believe anyone would hire a prostitute for some important job in society? Especially when there are normal, candidates to choose from. You will never belong in the upper echelon of society since you do not have the moral qualities that it takes."
