Duke University porn star Belle Knox was mentioned in an article about another porn star who dished on how paying student debt is a lot more difficult than making X-rated films.

On Tuesday, Playboy posted an interview with Conner Habib, a male performer in the adult entertainment industry. He talked about how being a part of X-rated films can be a challenge when trying to earn a degree and that's when Knox was brought up since she's doing the same thing. Habib mentioned how men have it one way, leaving the question on what women might have to deal with.

"Pornography represents a flipside and balancing-out of the cultural expectations of college students," the actor said who has a Master of Fine Arts. "When men are in porn, they defy the expectation to get a 'real' job that they're unhappy in. They get to pursue something that gives them pleasure and brings pleasure to others."

The site then asked if Knox can be granted equal agency in the X-rated industry as a woman.

"Porn is one of the only industries where women are consistently paid more than men," Habib said. "And of course, women in porn refute the notion that they can never be happily sexual. The 'coy' woman falls away and is replaced by a sexually assertive human being."

This gives some insight on what Knox would have to say about this considering that she has given a number of speeches on being a female in the sex industry.
