Following the major success of the original crew from Party Down South, CMT has decided to keep the party going with a new batch of rowdy Southerners.

Is Lauren Dating Lil' Bit's Ex?!?!?!?

According to Entertainment Weekly, CMT is expanding the Party Down South franchise with a new edition of the show that is appropriately titled Party Down South 2, and plans to begin airing the first episode immediately after the original cast's Thanksgiving special, Drunksgiving, airs at 8 p.m. on Nov. 20.

The new show has already produced 12 one-hour episodes, which will air approximately until season 3 featuring the original cast-Daddy, Lyle, Walt, Murray, Lauren, Tiffany and Mattie-begins airing in February. Both casts filmed in the Biloxi Mississippi area, but at different times, and there will be no interaction between them on either shows.

While specific details about the new cast have not been released, it has been reported that one member of the new party group is a firefighter, and another happens to be the daughter of a preacher.

No one from the original Party Down South cast has commented on the new show, but rumors of another version of the show have been going on for some time. Back in June, shortly after season two of the show premiered, residents from both Biloxi and St. Martin Mississippi spoke to various news outlets about a cast filming in the area, saying that they were actually very quiet and respectful, contrary to popular belief.

"They came in one by one. And it was kind of like a little excitement because they go up to the top of the driveway, and they would drop off their suitcase, and there's a bug huge pool in the back, and they would hoot and holler," a neighbor of the new group said at the time. "They have been very respectful. We don't hear anything from them."

Another neighbor also spoke up at the time, saying that the cast rarely even left their house.

"The whole bunch is at the house and it's across the canal from our home," they said. "They are seldom out during the day and if so it's only to get a few minutes of footage. Yesterday, they shot about 5 fireworks, yelled 'woo hoo' and it was over."

Many believed those filming could have been the original cast at the time, though a look at their various social media pages shows they were all doing some promotional events in other locations at the time.

The new show with the new cast premieres Nov. 20 at 9 p.m. on CMT. The original cast's thanksgiving special airs that same night at 8 p.m., and a Christmas special, Christmas Hangover is expected to air at 8 p.m. Dec. 18. Season 3 of the original cast's show premieres in February 2015.
