It looks like another actor is taking a play from Vin Diesel's book and promoting himself in a Marvel movie in hopes that the studio will see the groundswell and cast him. Or does he actually have a role in an upcoming Marvel project?

Marvel Is About To Try & Make 'Black Panther' A Very Important Character

LL Cool J tweeted out on Tuesday following the Marvel announcements that he was "so ready for this role in [a] Marvel movie." But what could the rapper be talking about?

With the recent casting news of Chadwick Boseman set to play Black Panther, could LL Cool J be headed to that world? The actor could be playing some mentor figure for Boseman's T'Challa and could be a prominent member in the Wakanda society.

Another role that he would seem perfect for is the upcoming Netflix series, Luke Cage, which would let the actor lead a Marvel vehicle and head into The Defenders show. While he has his own CBS show, the actor could always find the time to do a 10-episode series for Netflix and Marvel, which would also allow him to be a superhero.

Or could it be even farther down the line with LL Cool J popping up in the Inhumans movie as one of the heroes on that team? That would seem a long way down the line to already have a role in place, but who says he has one right now.

It seems like he is interested and Marvel could be considering him. But the actor has a number of roles he could take over within the universe if given the opportunity.
