On Sunday, Nov. 9, Kandi Burruss, Nene Leakes, Phaedra Parks, Kenya Moore, Porsha Williams and Cynthia Bailey returned to television on the "Real Housewives of Atlanta" season seven premiere. Viewers were anxious to see their favorite personalities with two new cast members, Claudia Jordan and Demetria McKinney, as their personal lives' making headline news all off-season long. The constant media coverage helped as the belles of the south brought in 3.83 million viewers, breaking records as the best season premiere Bravo ever had.

Phaedra Defends Her Decision to Leave Apollo in the Court Room

According to the latest Nielsen reports and Variety, the show "Averaged a 1.8 rating/5 share in adults 18-49 (about 2.2 million in this age group)," totaling in a 20% rise in viewership compared to the season six premiere.

Also, the beloved drama kept Twitter on its' toes. Coupled with the high ratings, the season premiere was also the no. 1 most social reality program with over 171,000 tweets, marking another feat for the Atlanta imports.

Kandi Defends Her Racy Photo for Todd on Instagram

The ladies, except for Kenya Moore, Porsha Williams and Nene Leakes who is in NYC preparing for her stint on Broadway's "Cinderella," celebrated in Atlanta with their close family and friends. They shared photos on Instagram with cute poses and large smiles.
