On November 15, Willimon tweeted from Los Angeles, appreciation the sunny weather of the west coast:

"Hola LA! Dig the warmth & sun. Short visit but I'll soak it up while I can. Then back to east to finish@HouseofCards"

This would mean filming for the Netflix political drama is almost through and fans should hopefully get a release date for the show soon.

A recent report revealed that show will most likely be set for a February release next year. This does add up as the first two seasons premiered in February of 2013 and 2014.

While not much known about the next chapter is definite information as creator Beau Willimon has been extremely tight-lipped about the show, which stars Kevin Spacey and Robin Wright.

But a few details have spilled through. Frank Underwood (Kevin Spacey) will not only be signing up for fresh challenges as president but foreign affairs would be a prime focus for him. In a recent interview, Polish filmmaker Agnieszka Holland, who will be directing as episode in season 3, stated that Frank might also be dealing with the Russians.

The third season of House of Cards is currently filming in Maryland, where the first and second seasons were also shot. Initially, the continuation of filming of the third season of the Netflix series was fraught with troubles over the past few weeks as the producers weren't getting permission from the State of Maryland. But the issue was finally resolved on April 25.
