The show hasn't officially been cancelled and only pulled from FOX's schedule, but there may already be movements hoping to resurrect freshman series Red Band Society.

Fox Not Picking Up New Episodes Of 'Red Band Society'

It was revealed last week that Fox made the decision not to put the new series, which has seen low ratings, on its schedule for the Spring, and chose to halt production on the show after it wraps up its 13th episode-with the final three episodes left up in the air for potential air dates after the fall finale airs Dec. 3.

Naturally, the news has not been sitting well with the fans who did tune in and watch religiously-and it appears star Griffin Gluck, who plays comatose narrator Charlie on the show-is also not happy about it, and has been helping to potentially spearhead some fan campaigns to save the show by retweeting several fans calls to save the show on Twitter.

'Red Band Society' Left Off Fox's Fall Schedule

Other shows which have been cancelled that saw fans try and resurrect them through social media campaigns have included Longmire, Dallas, and Witches of East End. And while the younger star appears to be trying to support the campaigns, one of the show's adult stars, Dave Annable, who portrays Dr. McAndrew, has appeared to be more resigned to the show's fate, tweeting on Thanksgiving that he is sad to see the show come to an end.

"Happy Thanksgiving. Sad about #RedBandSociety but a nice reminder of what will always be here. #family #uncledave," he captioned a photo of himself and his nephew.

The fall finale of Red Band Society airs Wednesday, Dec. 3 at 9 p.m. on FOX.
