Johnny Manziel reportedly was ignored by his teammates during the pre-game introduction prior to his first professional start at Sunday's game, but the rookie is claiming that's not true.

Rookie QB Johnny Manziel Drops The Ball With First Professional Start

On Wednesday, Cleveland reported that FOX Sports' Pam Oliver said on CBS' show We Need to Talk Tuesday night that Manziel was ignored by his teammates when they were coming out of the tunnel prior to the game beginning.

"I was watching the introduction line with the pyrotechnics and all of that, and everybody runs through [their teammates]. He was the last one to go. Some people kept their hands to themselves [and didn't acknowledge him]," Oliver claimed since she worked the sideline at Sunday's game.

Her allegation was immediately shut down though by the rookie. On Wednesday during a press conference Manziel said, "That just seems ridiculous."

Furthermore, Cleveland reported that a review of the video from several angles by Northeast Ohio Media Group showed all the players slapping hands with Manziel as he ran out of the tunnel.

Plus, Manziel was not the last to run out, which debunks Oliver's allegation even more.

Oliver is sticking with her story though. She released a statement through FOX Sports as reported by Cleveland.

"I understand the difference of opinion and how things are perceived from different angles, but I am sticking to what I saw from my vantage point at field level. Having watched hundreds of these introductions and given the hype surrounding this game, my takeaway was that there wasn't a lot of engagement with the other players on the team and that surprised me," she said.
