Kelly Bensimon Talks Bethenny Frankel & 'Scary Island' Trip On 'RHONY'

According to recent reports, Bravo producers are considering bringing Bensimon back to The Real Housewives of New York City to hash things out with her former on-screen nemesis Bethenny Frankel.

“Kelly is thrilled that they are thinking of her,” Bensimon's rep revealed to Page Six on Thursday in regard to the report.

Bethenny Frankel Negotiated Her Return To Reality TV For Months

Bensimon appeared on the Bravo reality show from season 2 to season 4, before being given the axe, along with fellow stars Alex McCord, Cindy Barshop and Jill Zarin, before filming on season 5 give began.

On Wednesday, Life & Style claimed Bensimon would face off with Frankel during the coming season.

“Producers want to bring Kelly back so she and Bethenny can come face-to-face with each other,” a show insider told the magazine. “They want a dramatic confrontation over Kelly getting close last year with Bethenny’s ex Jason Hoppy and her daughter Bryn.”

As for Frankel, she announced her return to the show in October, after months of rumors regarding the issue. Frankel left the series after season 3 to pursue her own spinoff show on Bravo, Bethenny Getting Married (which was later renamed Bethenny Ever After).

A premiere date for season seven of The Real Housewives of New York City has yet to be announced.
