In a recent interview, AJ Cook, who plays Jennifer Jareau on Criminal Minds, dished about the return of serial killer Tivo Askari (Faran Tahir) in the upcoming episode of the CBS procedural.

Speaking to Buddy TV the actress gave away this exciting tid bit, as she was asked how Askari would be shown in the mid-season premiere of the show, perhaps flashbacks? The publication picked up on Askari's return as his name was listed as a guest star for the episode, titled The Forever People.

"When that guest cast list was released and Tivon Askari was on there, people kind of were very confused by that, like 'What? How? How is he there? I thought he was dead...' I don't want to give anything away, but it's one of the most intense scenes I've ever shot in my life, and he is so freakin' talented, Faran [Tahir], and this episode would not have worked if he didn't come back and play with us," she said. "There is an insanely intense scene between the two of us, so that's all I say on that. ... I don't want to give anything away, because it's such a cool thing that they did. I'll let everyone be surprised."

The episode will be focussing on JJ as her post traumatic stress disorder spurred by her abduction in the last season will start acting up. The actress also revealed that Dr. Reid (Matthew Gray Gubler) will actually step it up and be there for her during this traumatic period, and the bond they share will also be highlighted in the episode.
