Kate Gosselin has been a single woman for several years now and she says it's all because she simply has no time to date. The reality television star has opened up about her personal life at home - and lack of love life as well - in a new interview this weekend.

Kate Gosselin Isn't Listening To Her Haters Anymore

According to Us Weekly on Sunday, the 39-year-old blonde dished on why it's been so hard for her to find a boyfriend while trying to raise her eight children at home.

She said, "I would love to date, but I don't have time to date. I don't know that I really have time to think about what I want in a man. Our obvious issue is we're a family people have heard of. It's that publicity piece. There's eight kids and it's really loud and stressful in my house. I mean, anybody that can kind of work through all that, you know, that's a lot of gates there they gotta get through."

Kate Gosselin Admits That She Sometimes Cries Behind Closed Doors  

As far as her relationship with her ex-husband Jon Gosselin, she admits that things are peaceful right now, but she wishes things were better.

She said, "I don't have a relationship with Jon anymore. I give the kids... some of the kids visit and some don't and I keep the peace. That's what I've always done. It's best for the kids."

Gosselin added, "I wish that things were better for the kids. It's very clear by now that I'm just trying to preserve what relationship he has with them. I do think it's best for them, but, you know, divorce is hard, period. But it's really difficult when one parent is in the sabotaging mode. That's been difficult."

The celebrity mom also admits that her children are asking more questions about why she and her ex-husband split while revealing that there's a "man presence definitely missing" from her family.

The ex-couple separated back in 2010 before finalizing their divorce in 2011.
