Slater spoke with New Orleans' WGNO ABC 26 behind the scenes at the Dancing With the Stars Live! Tour where she spoke on season 20, which is coming up in March. While she would not explicitly reveal if she was returning to compete, she seems to suggest it.

"Actually we will find that out very shortly and we can't wait to tell you guys, and give you some information," Slater said, when asked if she was returning. "But what we can tell you is that Season 20 is going to be the biggest, and most impressive season of 'Dancing With the Stars' ever. So you have to watch it. It's going to be huge. There's going to be initiative."

Roseanne Barr Considering Spot In 'Dancing With the Stars'?

The upcoming season of Dancing With the Stars has been hyped up by many behind the scenes, especially by show runner Rob Wade. The executive producer told The Wrap that season 20 was going to be "fresher than ever" and will "embrace the madness."

The dynamic will be slightly different due to two longtime pros not competing. Cheryl Burke announced that she was leaving Dancing With the Stars to pursue other career opportunities, while Derek Hough is sitting out of this season to star as the male lead in the New York Spring Spectacular.

Dancing With the Stars season 20 is slated to premiere Monday, March 16 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
