Comedian and actress Roseanne Barr is considering competing on ABC's Dancing With the Stars next season, and she certainly has the support of her fans.

Barr tweeted that she was "thinking about" competing on Dancing With the Stars to her 270,000 followers on Tuesday.

"i am thinking about being on dancing with the stars -bc im a great dancer and i am getting old-who knows how long I can still do a backbend?" she tweeted.

The tweet received 41 retweets and 193 favorites as of Thursday and many of her fans encouraging her to do it. Some even said that they would actually watch Dancing With the Stars if she was going to be on it.

Assuming she does take the offer to compete she would certainly bring the entertainment, as long as she brings along her trademark sense of humor. She would probably be a good fit for Tony Dovolani, who has worked with some of the more outrageous contestants lately, such as NeNe Leakes and Leah Remini.

Barr's presence on the show would also provide some true star recognition that's been slightly missing over the past few seasons. She would also likely excel due to her sitcom success in the '90s, which has helped past sitcom stars like Candace Cameron Bure in previous seasons.

It remains to be seen if Barr will sign on but she would be a memorable addition to the cast if she does.

Dancing With the Stars returns for season 20 on Monday, March 16 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
